A little army of flower girls!

We have 4 nieces! Three of them will be flower girls, and the eldest will be our ring bearer. After a lot of back & forth, it looks like this is what my little lovelies will be wearing ♥ (And Grams will be paying for them, which relieves my conscience, since the parents of 3 of the girls have a 4th baby on the way and are already on a very tight budget as it is.) It's not totally the dress of my dreams, but they'll be super cute, all dressed the same & that's all that really matters.

Maids

Here are my guidelines: full-length, chiffon (because it'll be hot and I don't want total black-tie formality) and in any shade of purple. All of the ladies have ordered their dresses  Most went with DB and hilariously almost all of them chose lapis. Here are some we looked at:

Styles 231 and 496 from Mori Lee

The jewlery I'm gifting them! My friend Piret made the sets, which use the same stones but aren't identical ♥

RD & Day-After outfits

I'll be wearing a jewlery set of clear, round swarovsky crystals... and probably silver ballet flats.

I don't know what I'll be wearing for jewlery, but I'm looking for red ballet flats for my shoes ♥

Civil Ceremony dress

I wasn't originally planning on wearing 2 different dresses (I thought the expense was a little extravagant), but in the end I really couldn't bear the thought of Rudy seeing me in my dress before our spiritual ceremony. Since we have to go to the town hall first, I splurged on a little funky white dress that I ADORE! I found shoes I'm mad about, and will be adding a birdcage veil and a purple petticoat to complete the look. *sigh* clothing can be so much fun!

Rudy sweetheart, no looking at the next part!

Seriously, Buster! Get your nose outta here!

My dress!

There have been parts of my experience with David's Bridal that leave much to be desired. However, my saleswoman was a dream, and the one who found me my dress! It's a real example of how important it is not to box yourself in to one idea: the dress that ended up being mine was not anything I would have looked at on my own! I was thinking halter and unembellished and ended up with strapless with gorgeous brocade-style embroidery! I just LOVE it. I still need my bustier and a hoop-skirt, but here it is!

ahhh, is better with crin!
I've got my crin, shoes try #2 will hopefully arrive this week, my bustier should be waiting in my mailbox, I need  and my purse and some of my jewlery, but it's all coming together!

I've got all my material to make my veils, now it's time to spend evening beading, beading, and beading some more!
